Caru Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®, Caru SPCA® is a duly authorized society for the prevention of cruelty to animals incorporated in the State of California, and operating throughout the state.

Cruelty to animals is a serious and ongoing problem. There is a logical connection between the enforcement of state laws that offer protections to animals, and our ability to assure that all animals are treated humanely.

Our goal is to prevent cruelty to animals by use of all legal means, by working cooperatively with law enforcement and humane agencies, by promoting the enforcement of animal protection laws, and by educating others about the laws that protect animals and humane standards of care for animals.
